Can minors travel without a parent?
Minors cannot travel on their own through ReGo. They can travel only when accompanied by an adult (18+) who takes responsibility for the trip.
1. A minor travelling with another adult (not a parent)
If the child is travelling with:
- a relative,
- a family friend,
- a chaperone,
then official written consent with a certified signature is required from:
- The parent who is not travelling, or
- Both parents, if the child is accompanied by a third party
This document may be requested:
- by the airline,
- by staff at check-in,
- or by border authorities.
2. Unaccompanied travel is not allowed
On our platform we do not allow bookings with a minor travelling alone, and we do not support "Unaccompanied Minor" services.
Every booking must include at least one adult.
3. What documents the child needs
- A passport or a new-format ID card (depending on the destination)
- Written parental consent, when both parents are not travelling
- Any extra documents required by the destination country
Important
- Without the necessary documents, the airline can refuse boarding.
- A family record book is not a travel document.
- If you have questions about a specific trip, you can always ask us through Manage Booking.
